3D BluePrint participated in the Design Competition for National Institute of Water Sports, GOA.
The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited invited expression of interest from architectural firms specialized in development of Water sports complex projects to participate in pre-qualification for the National Institute of Water Sports Campus at Goa.
3D BluePrint India Pvt. Ltd applied for the same and was shortlisted, who were invited for a paid design competition. Each competitor had to submit their design philosophy with all necessary drawings, images, walk through, etc within a one month. The proposed 65,509 sq. mts. site is situated in the North Goa, and the basic requirements were to design Administration Building, Academic Building, Symposium Hall, Hostel, Residential Blocks, Semi Olympic size swimming pool, Public utility area and Provision for a Jetty.
The design team from 3D BluePrint gave a strong competition and emerged out as the first runner up in the competition. The major design features were horizontal building characteristic, which maintained a visual connectivity amongst the different buildings and blended very well with the surrounding landscape. The use of modern materials and the colour scheme complemented to the clean blue sea in its background.

3D BluePrint starts with the renovation of Dutch monumental graves in Ahmedabad.  The IDBCA (Indo Dutch Business Circle – Ahmedabad Chapter) is starting up with renovation and restoration of the Dutch monumental graves in Ahmedabad. 3D Blueprint India Pvt. Ltd. will manage the project on behalf of the IDBCA.
These monumental Dutch graves were constructed in the Mughal time, between 1615 – 1700 A.D. These monuments are protected by the Gujarat State Archaeological Department. The major steps for restoration would be protecting the monuments from vandalism and graffiti, defining a proper pavement, restoring the deteriorating sloping land on its one side, educating people about the existence of such a good piece of architecture and culture harmony that exists in Ahmedabad.It is expected that as an outcome of the project, the rich Dutch heritage will be preserved in a better way. This neglected place will become a selected place of interest for the visitors of kankaria and they will be surprised to learn that such monuments exist here.

Every year Asite, AEC3 and BIM Products organize Build LONDON Live - a 48 hour BIM competition. The Build London Live 2009 was held from 15th - 17th December 2009 in which 3D BluePrint India Pvt. Ltd participated as a team. We were the new players for the competition along with other teams from Japan, Singapore, UK, USA, Finland, Chile, etc. Each team was allocated a site in the master plan. The design brief was for a completely hypothetical mixed use development of hotel, office space, retail space and residential blocks.
We as Team 3D BluePrint participated with full enthusiasm and decided to give our best. As an outcome of great effort, we emerged out as the winning team under the Judges Discretionary category. The remarks from the honorable judges were "Interesting and creative design, the Judges particularly liked the exploration of design options."

News September 2009: 3D BluePrint India Pvt. Ltd. has started working on two new projects. The first is a group of appartment towers in Greater Noida area. In this project 3D BluePrint will be supporting the architect Anup Dave. The second is an office complex in Ahmedabad. News July 2009: Get a free copy of "BIM Revolution – ICT waves in the AEC industry " (14.2 MB). This booklet is a publication of the Center for Process Innovation in building & construction (CPI) and gives great examples and interviews of the usage of Building Information Models in practice. It of course includes work of the 3D BluePrint group and is a must read for every professional in the AEC industry who wants to stay up-to-date.

News March 2009: 3D BluePrint launches training programs for both students and professionals. The training will be on how to deliver a fully 3D BIM based design and construction project with the help of Nemetschek Allplan 2009. In six weeks one will learn and practice on how to complete a project with a 3D BIM without having to switch back to separate 2D modeling software. The training program has already been presented at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology in Vasad and the School of Architecture Design Academy in Vadodara. News February 2009: 3D PDF models have now been launched on our website. With 3D PDF everybody can navigate through our (technical) 3D models with the freely available Acrobat Reader 9. This enables our clients to keep updated on the progress of their projects and email an interactive 3D model to any contact. From the 8th to 11th of January 2009 3D BluePrint India Pvt. Ltd. was present at the Inside Outside Mega show in Ahmedabad. There in our transparent, interactive and fully reusable stand we explained people about how to fully use 3D BIM in the Indian architecture, engineering and construction practice. Our team of expert architects and engineers were very happy with the good responses from the event.
